The mysterious Claptone remains a mythical and little-known figure who steps in and out of the shadows, leaving otherworldly musical experiences in his wake. Since his beginnings in 2012, he has accomplished to guide people into a frenzy vibe with his DJ sets, which rely on smooth grooves from the world of House, colored with authentic soul that can rise or fall in pitch depending on the mood.
Remaining so private and unknown in the modern world of likes and photos is no easy task, especially considering he performs over 260 shows worldwide each year. In 2017 he created his own immersive events called "The Masquerade," with special guests like Black Coffee, Claude von Stroke, MK and Pete Tong joining in on the fun in various locations around the world. In addition to appearing in Los Angeles, Rio, Berlin, Paris, New York and Barcelona, Claptone brought "The Masquerade" to Ibiza, with two joint all-night shows with Elrow at Amnesia. In them, Claptone captivated the audience for seven straight hours and were the first sold-out shows of the year.
Claptone has created various stylish remixes of great and influential artists such as Depeche Mode, New Order, Disclosure, Faithless, Bastille and Hurts, all of which shows how sought after he is by those in the know; he has also performed at renowned festivals around the world such as Tomorrowland.
